FAQ

Who actually flies the drone?
A licensed, insured drone-services partner. All pilots hold FAA Part 107 certification. Check My Roof handles ordering, payment, and report delivery; the on-site work is done by professional pilots.
Do you need access to my property?
No. Drone inspection is non-invasive — the pilot operates from public right-of-way or your driveway. You do not need to be home for the flight, though we recommend it.
What if weather delays my inspection?
If weather (high winds, heavy rain, low cloud) delays your flight beyond 7 days, we automatically rescheduled OR refund in full at your choice.
Is this a substitute for a hands-on inspection?
Drone inspection captures everything visible from above with greater fidelity than a ladder inspection — but cannot inspect attic ventilation, interior leaks, or substrate decking. For complete inspection, combine drone + interior attic inspection.
Can I use this report for an insurance claim?
Yes. The aerial documentation and condition report are acceptable supporting evidence with most insurance carriers. For complex claims, also consider our Concierge Estimate Review.
