- Who actually flies the drone?
- A licensed, insured drone-services partner. All pilots hold FAA Part 107 certification. Check My Roof handles ordering, payment, and report delivery; the on-site work is done by professional pilots.
- Do you need access to my property?
- No. Drone inspection is non-invasive — the pilot operates from public right-of-way or your driveway. You do not need to be home for the flight, though we recommend it.
- What if weather delays my inspection?
- If weather (high winds, heavy rain, low cloud) delays your flight beyond 7 days, we automatically rescheduled OR refund in full at your choice.
- Is this a substitute for a hands-on inspection?
- Drone inspection captures everything visible from above with greater fidelity than a ladder inspection — but cannot inspect attic ventilation, interior leaks, or substrate decking. For complete inspection, combine drone + interior attic inspection.
- Can I use this report for an insurance claim?
